主講人簡介：

葉林教授，現(xiàn)任南方科技大學系統(tǒng)設計與智能制造學院講席教授。1982年于哈爾濱工程大學獲得學士學位。1984年和1987年于北京航空航天大學分別獲得碩士和博士學位。1988年至1990年在西安交通大學任講師，1990年獲德國洪堡基金會資助赴德國。1992年應聘為澳大利亞悉尼大學講師，此后歷任高級講師、準教授、教授、學院院長。國際著名復合材料專家，研究涉及高性能復合材料的諸多領域。在先進復合材料和功能材料的基礎研究和技術開發(fā)領域均做出杰出的貢獻。2004年獲得德國洪堡基金會的Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel研究獎。2005年當選澳大利亞工程院院士。 葉林院士發(fā)表了超過500篇期刊論文和著作，是國家杰出青年科學基金獲得者。曾任上海交大江學者講座教授、澳大利亞悉尼大學先進材料技術中心主任、澳大利亞國防科學技術研究院航空結構及發(fā)動機損傷力學專家中心主任、澳大利亞先進復合材料結構工業(yè)合作研究中心專家、亞澳復合材料協(xié)會主席。2016年獲得了“上海市國際科技合作獎”。

Brief Introduction of Professor Yican Wu

Prof. Ye, Currently Chair Professor at the School of System Design and Intelligent Manufacturing (SDIM). He received his Bachelor of Engineering from Harbin Engineering University in 1982, Master of Engineering and Ph.D from Beihang University in 1984 and 1987, respectively. He worked as Lecturer at Xian Jiao Tong University 1988-1990 before he joined the Institute for Composite Materials (IVW GmbH) at the University of Kaiserslautern in 1990 as an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow. He joined the University of Sydney as Lecturer in 1992, and subsequently promoted to Senior Lecturer, Reader, Professor and the Head of School. Prof. Ye is an internationally renowned composites expert, whose research involves wide-ranging fields of high-performance composites. He has made phenomenal contributions to the fundamental science and technological development of advanced composites and functional structures.

Prof. Ye received the Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel Research Award in 2004 from the Alexandra von Humboldt Foundation. He was elected as Fellow (FTSE) of Australian Academy of Engineering (ATSE) in 2005. Fellow Ye Lin has published more than 500 journal papers and books, and is a recipient of Outstanding Young (Overseas) Researcher Award of National Natural Science Foundation (NNSF).

He has served as Cheung Kong Visiting Chair Professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Director of Centre for Advanced Materials Technology (CAMT) of the University of Sydney, the Deputy Director/Director of the DSTO AED Centre of Expertise in Damage Mechanics, expert of the Technical Advisory Committee of the CRC for Advanced Composite Structures (CRC-ACS), and President of Asian-Australasia Association of Composite Materials. In 2016, he won the "International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Award, Shanghai City".
