主講人簡介:
Eugenia Russinova教授,美國科學院外籍院士,歐洲分子生物學組織(EMBO)會員。Russinova教授于1996年在英國萊斯特的德蒙福特大學獲得博士學位,隨后加入荷蘭瓦格寧根大學Sacco De Vries實驗室從事博士后研究,自2006年在弗蘭德斯生物技術(shù)研究所植物系統(tǒng)生物學中心(VIB-PSB)開展獨立研究工作。Russinova教授曾任Current Opinions in Plant Biology、Plant and Cell Physiology和Journal of Cell Science等國際學術(shù)期刊編委,現(xiàn)擔任植物科學領(lǐng)域頂級期刊Plant Cell審稿編輯。Russinova教授致力于結(jié)合化學遺傳學、分子生物學和細胞生物學工具解析油菜素甾醇(BR)信號通路的調(diào)控機制及BR通路與其他信號通路的交互作用,曾在Science、Nature、Nature Cell Biology、Nature Chemical Biology、Nature Communications、Nature Plants和Plant Cell等國際知名期刊發(fā)表論文100余篇。
Brief Introduction of Professor Eugenia Russinova
Professor Eugenia Russinova is an international member of the National Academy of Sciences and a member of the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO). Professor Russinova graduated from De Montfort University, UK in 1996 with a PhD in Plant Molecular Biology, and subsequently joined the laboratory of Sacco De Vries at Wageningen University in the Netherlands as a postdoctoral fellow. Since 2006, she has been a Principal Investigator at the Center for Plant Systems Biology, VIB (PSB-VIB) in Belgium. Professor Russinova served on the editorial boards of academic journals such as Current Opinions in Plant Biology, Plant and Cell Physiology, and Journal of Cell Science, and is currently an editor for the top-tier plant science journal, The Plant Cell. Her research focuses on the regulatory mechanisms of brassinosteroid (BR) signaling and its crosstalk with other pathways, utilizing tools from chemical genetics, molecular biology, and cell biology. She has published over 100 papers in prestigious journals, including Science, Nature, Nature Cell Biology, Nature Chemical Biology, Nature Communications, Nature Plants, and The Plant Cell.
