主講人簡介：

David Cardwell教授曾擔任劍橋大學戰(zhàn)略與規(guī)劃副校長，目前是超導工程教授，曾擔任工程系主任。由Cardwell教授創(chuàng)立的劍橋大學體超導體研究小組致力于體高溫超導體的加工和應用，這些超導體可用于產生非常高的磁場。包括2014年在塊狀超導體中創(chuàng)下的17.6特斯拉的世界紀錄磁場。1998年，他是歐洲應用超導學會（ESAS）的創(chuàng)始成員，自2007年以來，一直擔任該學會的理事會成員和財務主管。他是包括《超導科學與技術》在內的五本國際期刊的活躍編委會成員，并與人合著了300多篇技術論文和專利。

Brief Introduction of Professor David Cardwell

Professor David Cardwell previously served as Vice President for Strategy and Planning at the University of Cambridge, and is currently a Professor of Superconducting Engineering, having previously served as the Head of the Engineering Department. He leads the Bulk Superconductivity research group at Cambridge on the processing and applications of bulk high temperature superconductors, which can be used to generate very high magnetic fields, including the world record magnetic field of 17.6 Tesla set in bulk superconductors in 2014. He was a founder member of the European Society of Applied Superconductivity (ESAS) in 1998 and has served as a Board member and Treasurer of the Society since 2007. He is an active board member of five international journals, including Superconductor Science and Technology, and has co-authored over 300 technical papers and patents.
