胡春宏教授1982年本科畢業(yè)于武漢水利電力學(xué)院河流泥沙及治河工程專(zhuān)業(yè),1989年博士畢業(yè)于清華大學(xué)水力學(xué)及河流動(dòng)力學(xué)專(zhuān)業(yè)。現(xiàn)任中國(guó)水利水電科學(xué)研究院副院長(zhǎng)、教授級(jí)高級(jí)工程師、國(guó)際泥沙研究培訓(xùn)中心副主任兼秘書(shū)長(zhǎng)、三峽工程泥沙專(zhuān)家組組長(zhǎng)、中國(guó)水利學(xué)會(huì)泥沙專(zhuān)委會(huì)主任。

胡春宏教授長(zhǎng)期從事泥沙運(yùn)動(dòng)力學(xué)、河床演變與河道整治、工程泥沙等領(lǐng)域的理論與應(yīng)用研究。先后主持與承擔(dān)國(guó)家和省部級(jí)重大科研項(xiàng)目等100余項(xiàng),建立了江河水沙調(diào)控理論、模型與技術(shù)體系,解決了黃河口流路穩(wěn)定與治理、黃河下游萎縮性河道治理與塑造中水河槽、黃河中游三門(mén)峽水庫(kù)運(yùn)用方式調(diào)整與降低潼關(guān)高程、黃河上游水庫(kù)調(diào)控與河道減淤、長(zhǎng)江三峽水庫(kù)及下游河道泥沙模擬與調(diào)控、塔里木河干流河道治理與輸水堤防建設(shè)、官?gòu)d水庫(kù)疏浚整治與恢復(fù)向北京市供水等江河治理中的工程技術(shù)難題。開(kāi)展了長(zhǎng)江與洞庭湖、鄱陽(yáng)湖關(guān)系演變及其調(diào)控,黃河流域水沙變化機(jī)理與趨勢(shì)預(yù)測(cè),西南河流源區(qū)徑流變化和適應(yīng)性利用等重大問(wèn)題的研究。

胡春宏教授發(fā)表研究論文500余篇,出版專(zhuān)著12部。獲國(guó)家科技進(jìn)步二等獎(jiǎng)3項(xiàng)、省部級(jí)科技進(jìn)步特等獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng)、一等獎(jiǎng)6項(xiàng)。國(guó)家杰出青年科學(xué)基金、中國(guó)青年科技獎(jiǎng)和錢(qián)寧泥沙科學(xué)技術(shù)獎(jiǎng)獲得者。2013年當(dāng)選中國(guó)工程院院士。

Prof. Hu is an expert in sediment transport and river training. He received his bachelor's degree from Wuhan Institute of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering in 1982, and his doctor's degree from Tsinghua University in 1989. Prof. Hu is currently the vice president of IWHR (China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research), the deputy director and secretary general of International Research and Training Center on Erosion and Sedimentation (IRTCES), the director of sediment Committee of Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society, and the director of Sediment Expert Panel of the Committee of TGP.

Prof. Hu has been devoted to the theories and application of river dynamics, river training and sediment engineering, and has hosted and undertaken more than 100 national, provincial and ministerial major scientific research projects. He has established theories and models of river sediment regulation and optimization, which has efficiently solved the key technical problems in many national projects, including the restoration of water supply from the Guanting Reservoir to Beijing, the reshaping of the medium-flood channel during the shrinkage process of the Lower Yellow River, and the investigation of the co-evolution between Yangtze River, Dongting Lake and Poyang Lake.

Prof. Hu has published over 500 papers and 12 monographs, and he received the honors including three Second-Prizes for the National Science and Technology Progress Award, one Special-Prize and six First-Prizes for Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technology Progress Award. Besides, he has been awarded the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, the China Youth Science and Technology Prize and the Chien Ning Prize for Erosion and Sedimentation Technology. Prof. Hu was also selected as a national gainer of "New Century Talents Project", and was elected as a member of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2013.
