主講人簡(jiǎn)介：

Vladimir Nikora是英國(guó)阿伯丁大學(xué)工程學(xué)院環(huán)境流體力學(xué)講席教授，英國(guó)皇家工程院院士，愛(ài)丁堡皇家學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)士。他于1984年在俄羅斯圣彼得堡國(guó)家水文研究所獲得博士學(xué)位，先后在烏克蘭敖德薩水文氣象研究學(xué)院、新西蘭國(guó)家水與大氣研究所、英國(guó)阿伯丁大學(xué)等單位任職。Nikora教授長(zhǎng)期從事流體力學(xué)、明渠湍流、水沙輸移及生態(tài)水力學(xué)等方面的研究，在粗糙床面紊流的描述以及泥沙運(yùn)動(dòng)力學(xué)等方面取得了一系列創(chuàng)新成果。

Nikora教授曾擔(dān)任IAHR Journal of Hydraulic Research期刊主編，AGU Water Resources Research、ASCE Journal of Hydraulic Engineering等期刊副主編，IAHR流體力學(xué)技術(shù)委員會(huì)主席等學(xué)術(shù)職務(wù)，現(xiàn)為IAHR全球水安全委員會(huì)委員、IAHR Journal of Ecohydraulics期刊咨詢編輯。Nikora教授曾多次受邀在 IAHR、ISRS 等國(guó)際重要會(huì)議上做特邀報(bào)告，在《Journal of Fluid Mechanics》、《Water Resources Research》、《Journal of Phycology》等國(guó)際高水平期刊上發(fā)表論文190多篇，被引次數(shù)約1.4萬(wàn)次，H指數(shù)59。Nikora教授憑借其研究成果和學(xué)術(shù)影響力，獲得了水利工程領(lǐng)域的三大國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，包括 Hunter Rouse 水利工程獎(jiǎng)（2010，EWRI）、Hans Albert Einstein 獎(jiǎng)（2017，ASCE）以及M. Selim Yalin 終生成就獎(jiǎng)（2019，IAHR）。

Brief Introduction of Professor Nikora

Prof. Vladimir Nikora is the Sixth Century Chair of Environmental Fluid Mechanics in School of Engineering at University of Aberdeen, a Fellow of the UK Royal Academy of Engineering, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. He received his PhD degree from the State Hydrological Institute in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1984, and held the positions at the Odessa Hydrometeorological Institute in Ukraine, the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research in New Zealand, and the University of Aberdeen in UK. Prof. Nikora has long been engaged in fluid mechanics, turbulent structure, sediment transport mechanisms and eco-hydraulics, and has achieved a series of innovative achievements especially in the description and prediction of turbulence over rough beds and sediment transport.

Prof. Nikora has served as the Editor-in-Chief of IAHR Journal of Hydraulic Research, the Associate Editors of AGU Water Resources Research and ASCE Journal of Hydraulic Engineering, and the Chair of the IAHR Technical Committee on Fluid Mechanics. He is currently a member of the IAHR Global Water Security Committee and Consulting Editor of the IAHR Journal of Eco-hydraulics. Prof. Nikora has been invited to give special presentations at important international conferences such as IAHR and ISRS for many times. He has published more than 190 papers in international high-level journals such as Journal of Fluid Mechanics, Water Resources Research, Journal of Phycology, etc., with a citation number of 14K and the H-index of 59. With his research achievements and academic influence, Prof. Nikora has received three international academic awards in the field of hydraulic engineering, including the Hunter Rouse Hydraulic Engineering Award (2010, EWRI), Hans Albert Einstein Award (2017, ASCE) and M. Selim Yalin Lifetime Achievement Award (2019, IAHR).
